Finally I have Lyndall at home. She still has a good deal of pain but hopefully we can manage that as part of the process of steady improvement in her fitness levels. We only have 3 weeks before she is back in hospital for an important operation to remove her spleen. She will then need to be free of lung problems and able to walk about and function normally - a bit of an ask at this point but we don'thave any other options.
