Life doesn't always work out just how we'd like. At the end of her final chemo session (#4), Lyndall contracted an infection and in her weakened state is having a desperate struggle to regain her strength. She went back into hospital last night suffering a high level of pain with pleural pneumonia. It is imperative that she begins to breath deeply and move about to clear her lungs. Proper pain management is necessary to facilitate this - something we found hard to arrange at home. I've just spent 12 days at her bedside in hospital and after a 4 day break it's back there again. This is a very stressful time for her and it distresses me to see her so low.
