After a pretty average month Lyndall is now a bit more perky, still mostly horizontal but able to read a little and give directions to the galley slave. All these years of taking her skills for granted as she prepared exotic meals on land and in a rocking yacht at sea have caught up on me and I'm beginning to realise there is a big difference between a chef and a cook! Lyndall's Specialist has put her on an oral chemotherapy which after 5 weeks has made some improvement to her blood results. He seems pleased ... so we are too. The options for more "intervention" are in the background but it is all a choice based on the possibility of a bit more time versus quality of life. In the meantime we are doing what we can with the best food, meditation and a healthy, happy environment created by friends and family in this beautiful place. We have been cheered up enormously too by the many warm and thoughtful emails from readers of these pages. Our heartfelt thanks to all corners of the globe.
