Braving storms and cold in Sydney has it's rewards. Long lost friends are happy to drop by and reminisce. Last weekend, Tom and Vicky Jackson left their beautiful varnished-hull yacht Sunstone in Hobart for a visit to Sydney. We were thrilled to see some of their photos beginning from the time we parted company in Victoria BC. In the past 3 1/2 years they sailed the US west coast to Mexico, down through Central America to Ecuador, out into the Pacific to the Galapagos, Easter Island then back to Chile. The cruise down the south American coast to Patagonia and Argentina is one we would love to do but seeing their shots was the next best thing. From there they sailed to the Falklands, Capetown, Freemantle then after a detailed cruise of SW Australia they sailed to Tasmania. Fantastic, and after 10 years, they "ain't finished yet". You can catch up with their adventures on www.sunstonesailing.com
