Holiday greetings to everyone from Lyndall and Peter, crew of illywhacker. We are temporarily away from our floating home in Townsville, north Queensland as we visit our land-based friends and relatives 2,500Km to the south in Sydney, NSW. As well as serving as a break from the hot and steamy tropical weather, it is our way of reassuring ourselves that living aboard is truly what we love doing the most. While our friends here have day-to-day concerns focussed on their homes and gardens it'snot something we get excited about any more and when our eyes glaze over we find ourselves planning future voyages to distant shores. Despite the rather severe limitation imposed on our adventures by Lyndall'spoor health we continue to hope for a medical "breakthrough" that will have us casting off our lines once again. May your dreams for an exciting 2005 come true - see you out there!
