15 Feb 2005: Sydney

We're watching the Townsville weather carefully from down south in this comparatively mild Sydney climate. So far, no cyclones up there but some monsoon rain so the nearby parks should be green and the decks well washed. Reports from #1 son James, who is checking illywhacker are that she is dry and mold-free below decks. The solar panel isn't charging battery #1 but that's easily fixed when we get back. Current plans are for that to be in early March. Lyndall's health is slowly worsening which is heartbreaking to watch and probably will put our cruising plans on hold this season.
