26 June 2003: Hawaii YC

Aloha from paradise! Illywhacker is tied up just 10m across a green lawn with coconut palms and frangipani plants from the bar, showers and restaurant at the Hawaii Yacht Club. The sky is always sunny and ther air tropically warm - around 28C. We have the big awning up , the first time since the Solomons in 1998 and all hatches open. We are st ill assessing the damage sustained on the crossing - the problems look different when viewed looking down from the top deck of the clubhouse with a cool beer in hand. Maybe they'll go away - I think I'll stay here forever.
