If you think you've nothing to be thankful for, then feel your pulse! Lyndall likes that little homily - it's been especially relevant during the past month or so when she was suffering, ever so slightly, from the despair of continually feeling ill. This is the first time in our lives she says, when we haven't got a plan for the future, it'shard enough dealing with each day as it comes. But there has been a bright spot - we have finished our book! The local library put on a booklaunch which was well attended though unfortunately not by Lyndall - she was able to watch it all on video later. Writing it has been great therapy for both of us, reliving our Japanese Inland Sea adventure and the resulting tome is illustrated on this homepage. We do have a plan for xmas in fact and that is to sail over to Horseshoe Bay and enjoy the festivities there, even if we have to prop up the Captain in the cockpit. We'll keep you posted. We sincerely hope all readers have a safe and happy xmas and get to spend some time on board.
