Had a great tour of Funafuti Island today. We hired 2 motorbikes - no paperwork, just walked in and were told come back when you'refinished. For 4 hours it was $13.50 for the 2 of us. Called in at the Met office and discovered a convergence zone (these things are everywhere) to the south of us causing winds up to 35 kts and rough seas between here and Vanuatu. Ah well, if we have to wait around this place will do nicely.
