Heading 240T, Speed 6kts, wind NE 12, swell NW 2m, temp 25/28. W found the NE Trades yesterday but were unprepared for the wicked cross swells that came with it. With a poled out headsail we rolled horribly until our stomachs cried out for mercy. This mor ning things improved with more boatspeed from our MPS set opposite the genoa. A little less rolly. The engine lost it'soil last night, the fresh water tanks sprung a leak from the vicious rolls and the prop has more debris a round it. Hawaii where are you? 6 days away unfortunately!
