Today's wefax suggests we are in the clear, some 540nm west of San Francisco with nothing but smooth seas and almost no wind toour south. We have fuel for 800nm so we have to find wind to sail the remaining 900. The reality of leaving the Nth American continent is slowly sinkingin - with sadness for all the friends we are leaving behind.
