3 May 2003: Sidney BC

Home again after a great dose of R&R visiting California (from the Napa wine district north of San Francisco to Monterey and points south ), Las Vegas in Nevada and the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Quite a contrast in countryside as we drove the lush coastal strip after the dry Mojave desert. We reckon that now we've seen as much of the west coast as we need so the first leg of our passage home will be Victoria to Honolulu direct, probably starting early June.
