Hey where did that month go? Contrary to the last report, Vancouver Island weather is beautiful with clear skies, a little fog in the morning then that long-distance view you get with crisp 11C days and low-angle sunshine, fantastic for photographs. Nightfall comes gradually around 4pm with a sunset to die for - so red it's unbelievable. We took a trip to the BC museum at Victoria yesterday, it's close to the best we've seen with a great range of very realistic dioramas, Oh to have the grandchildren here, seeing something like that is is best way to learn about local history, the people and the treasures of the environment.
