Engine in pieces, sails in for repair, heater reconditioned, sheets washed, new anchor hawse .... but that's enough of boat work for a while, we're off on a land cruise to visit our favourite 83y/o sailing friend Dee in WallaWalla, E. Washington State. We'll catch the ferry to Anacortes, meet up with some Cordova friends then head east over the Snoqualmie Pass to prairie country. While this great weather is STILL around (a little chilly though with heavy morning fogs) and there is still light at 5pm, we'll take a look around, somewhere other than marinas, ship chandlers and hardware shops!
